The Belgian World Music Network invites you to the 2nd Belgian World Music Network Meeting & Showcases.

The Belgian World Music Network is a non-profit association which unites all those professionally active in the world music sector in Belgium around the goals laid out in the vision text. Any organization with an interest can become an official member of the network.

On May 23rd in the morning, the first official general meeting will be held with all members and those interested in becoming one. It is also possible to apply to join the board by candidacy. Five new board members will be chosen by the General Meeting. In the afternoon, the conference will continue with informative sessions, discussions and workshops on different topics related to world music in Belgium. These sessions are open to everyoneinterested in the subject.

• Touring and promoting Belgian world music artists abroad, with Michael Wolteche (Enthousiast Music) and Wout Van Putten (Zephyrus)
