Vanaf november 2020 presenteert Classical: NEXT een geheel nieuwe online serie: Classical: NEXT Encore.
The global art music community is one that never ceases to innovate and inspire, even in the face of a global pandemic. The many talented representatives across all sectors of the art music ecosystem have displayed great strength, courage, ingenuity and determination. In the spirit of their continuous hard work and drive, it has become all the more necessary and all the more important to keep the channels of communication open, to allow for sharing, exchanging and discovering, year round.
As of November 2020, Classical:NEXT begins the metamorphosis into a year-round, hybrid platform. Expanding on the annual gathering every year in May, Classical:NEXT brings you Classical:NEXT Encore – an online event series that will take place three to four times a year, offering sector and regional meet ups, presentations of the latest innovations and developments, project pitches and of course, music and networking.
The upcoming debut series will take place from 30 November to 11 December 2020 and is accessible to anyone with an active C:N NET account.
Building on the bedrock of networking and the ever-constant push for positive change, Classical:NEXT Encore participants are placed directly into the action when and where ever possible: mix and mingle in receptions scheduled so the whole world can take part; conference sessions and meet ups for learning and listening and the option for participants to go beyond the chat box and discuss directly face to face. A new Classical:NEXT Academy also offers in-depth learning on targeted topics.
These online series allow for cross-sector and cross-border conversations to take place throughout the year, to engage the global community and offer more chances to connect, exchange, discover and grow collectively.
