Set in a magnificent open-air theatre, Afrika Festival Hertme has been running a unique experience of carefully chosen African music in a tiny Dutch village 25 kms from the German border. The festival is run 100% by volunteers and has never received any subsidies. It is famous for its relaxed atmosphere and its large African (food) market. Festival dates: July 6 & 7 2019 and July 4 & 5 2020.
