First panels and speakers announced
Today we have confirmed a keynote address with Urgenda director and ‘leading global thinker’ Marjan Minnesma. Minnesma has worked for the Dutch government in Central Europe on energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Together with her co-director prof Rotmans at the Institute for Transitions (Drift) at the Erasmus University she founded Urgenda, as an organization for innovation and sustainability to make the required transitions happen. Urgenda worked as a front runner on solutions and recently brought the government to court together with almost 900 citizens to demand more action and won three times. This Dutch climate case sparked off numerous climate cases all over the world.
ESNS also hosts a keynote interview with ‘the one billion dollar man’ André de Raaff, a veteran in the international music business with an outstanding track record. André founded CTM in 2000 to become one of the most successful independent entertainment music companies. CTM is one of the first power houses that started to buy music rights in 2008 already. Due to CTM’s experience and knowledge a new strategic partnership with Dallas based Outlander was concluded in 2021, with the aim to invest one billion dollars during the next 5 years in both publishing and master rights, making CTM Publishing one of the most cutting edge and highly profiled independent publishers around the globe.
In addition, there will be a keynote interview with Matt Schwarz(DreamHaus). Schwarz is CEO and managing partner of Berlin based promoter DreamHaus. DreamHaus promotes tours and festivals including Rock am Ring and Rock im Park and is part of Eventim Live.
Schwarz served over twelve years as Vice President Touring & Festivals at MLK before he was appointed COO and Managing Director of Live Nation Germany, Austria and Switzerland in September 2015. He left Live Nation end of 2020 and moved into DreamHaus in January 2021.
Anne Löhr (Mental Health in Music) is a psychologist, therapist and coach specialized in the creative and music industries and is the co-founder of Mental Health in Music. Löhr works together with musicians and music professionals to help them cope with the mental consequences of the corona crisis and much more.
