About Music Rights on Tour
Music Rights on Tour is an initiative from Buma, Sena and NORMA to eliminate misunderstandings about music and rights and ensure that everyone gets paid what they are entitled to. In short: Buma/Stemra collects royalties and pays them to composers, lyricists and publishers. Sena is a neighbouring rights organisation that collects a fee from music users on behalf of its rightsholders. If you are a performer and can be seen or heard on television, you may be entitled to payment from NORMA.
The Music Rights on Tour Masterclass is taught by Esther Maijer (manager customer care, Buma/Stemra) and Silvia Biemans (accountmanager relationship management, Sena). Esther is responsible for contacts with rightsholders and for service provision, Silvia for maintaining contact with key accounts and rightsholders.
