Songs based on the poem ‘The footprints of the water’ by the Persian modern poet Sohrab Sepehri. The words of the poem come to life in their delicate songs in which themes such as life, love and death merge into catchy bluesy sounds and oriental melodies.
Admission is free, but advance reservation is required if you want to be assured of a spot.
VOLfest is a series of concerts, jam sessions and demonstrations for children in world music in Vollenhove Zeist. The concerts take place every second Friday evening of the month in the community center within the Torenflat. During the day, the musicians give a music demonstration for children at a primary school, followed by jam sessions in the ‘neighbourhood’ living room of MeanderOmnium.
