World Music Forum NL verzorgde tijdens WOMEX 2023 in A Coruña de Nederlandse vertegenwoordiging en stand. Tijdens de beurs waren zo'n 2.750 internationale delegates uit 105 verschillende landen aanwezig waaronder zo'n 55 Nederlandse delegates. Er werd overdag flink ge-netwerkt, en er werden volop nieuwe kansen aangeboord. Ook het nieuwe gele Who is Who-boekje met een overzicht van de Nederlandse scene vond tijdens de beurs gretig aftrek. The Netherlands are jazzahead! partner country in 2024

The Netherlands will become jazzahead! partner country in 2024. This was announced on 29 April in Bremen by Claudia Roth, Germany's Minister of State for Culture and Media. She did so before a full house at Kulturzentrum Schlachthof, in the presence of Dewi van der Weerd, Dutch ambassador for international cultural cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
